All Thats Left Series
The "All that’s left" series focuses on rapid extinction of wildlife around the world and especially in Africa. In Kenya, we rely heavily on our wildlife for tourism and yet we continually kill our wildlife for a small profit. Declining number of animals in our parks has put many species under the endangered watch list over the years.
With deforestation and climate change the animal’s habitats are being destroyed. Encroaching on national parks in favor of urban development has left our wildlife vulnerable. With climate change, glaciers in the Arctic are melting at an alarming rate, making wildlife in the area close to extinction. With less fresh water and food for the wildlife, numbers continue the downward trend.
This photo series shows a time when all we will have left is plastic toys to show the next generation instead of living animals.
